Combining a superior-strength, high-torque 500-watt direct-drive motor mounted in the rear wheel, which delivers 720 watts at peak, with a high capacity 36-volt, 9-amp hour advanced lithium ion battery (LiFePO4), you are guaranteed to enjoy a long ride around town. This step-through, aluminum rigid frame bike brings new meaning to the term "ease of use." You will also love the Avid BB5 disc brakes and Avid 180-mm HS1 rotors for the best in heat shedding, not to mention the SRAM X7 Twist 8-speed shifter and the ultra durable Conti Town & Country 16 x 1.9 tires which are well known for stability and traction. Just give the throttle a half twist to activate the "power-on-demand" propulsion system and reach speeds of up to 20 mph on the Stride 500. The battery delivers up to 30 miles per charge and an effortless ride while offering the option of pedaling for exercise. We got two of these bikes for our Florida home and we absolutely love them. It's great to see a USA product that is fantastic quality and beats everyone else on quality vs. cost. We road 11 miles the second time out with sometimes pedaling and sometimes pure electric. After a pleasant smooth and very quiet ride we returned with only have used 1/4 of the battery’s power.LOVE THESE BIKES

Can't say enough positive about this bike. From the great way the manufacture packs for shipment to the cool way it looks and performs. Now I truly understand why there are 125 million electric bikes in the world. Buy this bike before the rest of the world ( 7 billion people) discover them.

Great bike! Took about an hour to unpack and set up, and then it was ready to go. It's a bit heavy compared to my other bike, but it has plenty of power! I use it to buzz around town and it's just what I wanted. So far (I've had it about a month) no problems. I would definitely recommend this bike.
